1. Introduction

As part of the integration of our business, we are working hard to align the Colt and Lumen EMEA product portfolio, to provide you with the best possible offering and streamlined service.

Colocation is a new standard product being introduced into the Core portfolio. While this product is new to the Core business, it has been previously offered within the Neo EMEA infrastructure. Following the acquisition, the existing Neo EMEA Colo product has been adopted as the baseline. Going forward, we will use this standard Colo product for all new Colocation sales across the combined colt and lumen footprint. Customers will now be able to order standard Colo through the Core systems.

Colocation is delivered through three Core Data Centre sites: Paris, Brussels, and London (Docklands). The London Docklands site is planned to be decommissioned by 2027. In addition to standard rack and cage spaces, specialized infrastructure areas such as in-line amplifiers (ILAs) locations are included within the Colo footprint to support network performance. These locations form part of the standardized Colo offering now available across the combined network

2. What does this mean for you?

New Colocation services will be delivered through the standardized Colo product, available at the Core Data Centre sites in Paris, Brussels, and London (Docklands).

Existing Colocation services in Neo EMEA will continue to operate as they do today, with no impact to current service levels.

These services will be integrated into Colt’s IT systems following the migration, enabling streamlined management and provisioning.

There will be no service disruption or downtime during this transition.

The functionality of your Colo services will remain the same, but the customer portal used to manage your services will transition from Control Center to Colt Online.

What is different about the converged Colocation product?

Colocation is a new addition to the Core portfolio, enabling us to offer standardized Colo services where none were previously available. This expands our product offering and provides customers with access to Data Centre services in key locations including Paris, Brussels and London.

Will the commercial model change?

Colocation will be offered under the standard Core commercial framework from the outset. A new pricing tool and electronic order form have been introduced to simplify and speed up the quoting and ordering process for Colocation services.

3. Product features

There are no significant differences in the available product features between the converged Colocation product and the previous Neo EMEA Colo service. Customers can expect the same reliable features and service levels.
