1. Introducción

We’ve successfully completed the second phase of aligning the Lumen EMEA and Colt product and solution portfolios. This convergence brings you the best of both worlds, combining strengths from each portfolio to deliver a more streamlined experience.

Dark Fibre is a standard product for Colt already and the characteristics of the Lumen product are very similar to the Colt product. Going forward we will therefore use the Colt product for all new Dark Fibre sales on the combined Colt and Lumen fibre assets.

Dark Fibre is delivered as metro Dark Fibre service across 51 metro networks, and as national or international Dark Fibre across the combined long haul fibre estate.

2. ¿Qué significa esto para usted?

New Dark Fibre services will be delivered on the Colt infrastructure (the combined Lumen EMEA and Colt network).

Existing Lumen EMEA Dark Fibre services will continue to operate on the current infrastructure but will be managed by Colt IT systems after migration.

Durante esta convergencia no habrá interrupciones del servicio ni periodos de inactividad.

La funcionalidad seguirá siendo la misma que la actual, pero el portal del cliente para gestionar sus servicios cambiará de Control Center a Colt Online.

What is different about the converged Dark Fibre product?

Combining the Lumen EMEA and Colt network assets leads to an increased network coverage. This means the converged DF product will now also be available in additional markets as Norway and Sweden. There is no significant differences in product features between the ex-Lumen EMEA service and the Colt Dark Fibre product.

No hay diferencias en el modelo comercial en comparación con Lumen EMEA. Su equipo de cuentas seguirá estando a disposición de Soporte para cualquier cambio en su servicio que no pueda gestionar a través de la funcionalidad de autoservicio de los portales.

3. Mapping to a converged product

Colt Online es el portal de autoservicio para clientes (equivalente a Lumen EMEA Control Center) que le permite gestionar sus servicios una vez que haya adquirido un producto converged o haya migrado completamente a los sistemas Colt .  

Existe una amplia ayuda de Colt Online ayuda con preguntas frecuentestutoriales y vídeos de ayuda.
